Christmas 2009

On Christmas Eve this year, the kids opened temple books instead of PJs. I got the idea from my friend, Dana, and the book has the testimonies of their parents and grandparents about temples. There was a page with the pictures of them writing on the rocks that went into the foundation, and empty pages to add pictures of the open house as well. We can't wait for the dedication!

For Christmas this year, we went to Disneyland with the Larson Family. It was so much fun on Christmas morning to surprise our kids. We had wrapped up boxed of snacks and capri-suns for them to open. They were trying so hard to be excited and grateful for their gifts! After they had opened them, Dave went into our room to grab the "present we forgot", and they each opened up a paper with Mickey on it that spelled out "WE ARE GOING TO DISNEYLAND FOR CHRISTMAS!". Our present from Gram & Epaw was the lodging. They rented a really nice house that was about 1/2 mile from the park. It was SO MUCH FUN! Thanks for such a good time everyone!

The whole crew!

Addie and the princesses! We waited in line for an hour and a half to meet these gals. For Addie-it was well worth it! And I guess for us, too, just to see her face!
I love the one of Jasmine asking if she is 3 years old. She just couldn't beleive that she knew!

Grandma & Grandpa Palmer gave the kids $ to buy something at Disneyland for Christmas. All Tanner wanted was COTTON CANDY! He ended up buying a Buzz gun-and not one-but TWO bags of the stuff. He was in heaven!

Addie giving a thumbs up after going on space mountain. She was a daredevil and went on everything she could. Thunder Mountain Railroad was her favorite!

Gram, Eepaw, and the grandkids!

The house had a room for everyone! It also had an xbox (with guitar hero and everything!) to keep the kids happy. The garage had a pool table, a ping pong table, and a train table with toys. We couldn't have stayed in a better place!

What a fun family Christmas! There are so many more boys than girls! I bet your kids faces were hilarous when they opened caprisuns :)
