MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR from the Palmer Family!
We hope this year is your BEST one yet!

I just had to share: If YOUR children ever leave a crayon in their pants and it gets dried all over an entire load of jeans -try this little concoction!
2 large scoops liquid laundry detergent
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup liquid shout
1 cup borax
2 scoops oxiclean
Let it soak for awhile-wash-repeat if needed!
Thanks to this fun mixture about 75% of the crayon came out!
The last 4-5 pairs we're still working on. Just thought I'd share in case anyone ever needed it!
And thanks a TON to Melissa for all your help! You're the BEST!

For our THANKSGIVING we....

HOT TO TROT! It was so much fun doing this with my family!

Palmers=Basketball!

THE FEAST!

Worked our tails off picking up rocks!
Family Work Projects are the BEST!

The mine on the way up to Hanigans' Meadow

Hot Chocolate

SOO happy to be in the snow!

We actually saw & photographed a Kudamunda-
never seen one before!

Playing in the snow

We finally picked the tree that we would put up in our home!
(PS It's legal-we got a permit!)

On a ride scoping out a tree!

Hauling it back to the trailer!
We had such a great extended weekend!
The tree tipped over our make-shift holder the first night in our house-lots of water in the carpet-NICE! But now we have it secured and it looks great :) Worth the memories!
BTW.....does anyone have any tips on getting RED melted crayon out of a load of jeans? WD-40 isn't working. Thanks for any tips ahead of time!

F A L L: the Fair and Apple Annies

I signed my boys up for the County Fair talent contest this year. McKay practiced so hard to be ready and did GREAT! He won third place and got $10 for his efforts!

After I signed them up, Matt found out he would have to compete against McKay and decided he didn't want to do it this year. When we got out to the fair, the woman in charge informed us that they had moved Matt to the younger division so he wouldn't have to compete against his brother. He started freaking out because he hadn't prepared anything, so I told him HE could go tell them he wasn't going to compete. They persuaded him to play ANYTHING he had memorized. So down he went in his shorts and t-shirt to play the only song he could remember without music. The kid won second place- & $20-I told him that was probably the easiest $20 he would ever get! That's our MATT!

Since we had Friday off for Fair Day (my college
roomates from Mesa used to mock our fair day holiday :)
We decided to go to Apple Annies in Wilcox. It was a
pretty cool place! Next time we'll go on a Saturday, though,
so we can actually go on a hayride and pick a pumpkin.

My boys LOVED the corn maze.

By the entrance.....

My new favorite picture!

I LOVE SUNFLOWERS!!!!!

Addie & Maci- I have honestly never
seen a connection between cousins like there is with
these 2. They are the BEST of friends! I just hope they
always stay that way!

Tanner & Hanna-Best Buds!

Letter F is for.....

We are doing a playgroup with Addie and some of her best friends! We learned that the letter F is for Fairy wings, Flying, Following the leader, tracing our FEET and making them look pretty by painting our toenails, and best of all: Fishies and Fruit loops!

These cousins like to stick together!
